When I started training at Siren in spring of 2007 I was desperate for a little spice in my workout. Having explored a lot of forms of dance, including belly, ballroom, and latin, I thought it was time to take another form, exotic. I was excited when I discovered it wasn't just dancing, which is still my favorite part, but an amazing workout too. The challenge of integrating tricks on the pole with dancing and the friendships I fostered through my classes and outings kept me coming back for more. Now is my turn to pass on what I've learned and share the joy of dance and feminity with other women!
Kere Blair
Kere has traveled and performed with a variety of groups including The Belly twins, Mohammed Khordadian, kiyana's dance company and more. Kere is also a dance therapist in training and has her masters in clinical psychology.

Today, I am the owner of Siren Dance, the fitness based company that specializes in pole dancing. I find great joy in opening up doors to women on own journey. All women should have a place where they can get hot, work their bodies, explore their minds and feel like the amazing women they are everyday.
I continue on my own journey, down paths that are sometimes unknown, but always leading me forward.

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. But foremost a woman.
It has been a journey to rediscover myself. After having two children and caring for two whippets, the role of mother clearly defined me. Nevermind that I graduated Magna Cum Laude from college, held executive postions at various companies and studied martial arts for years, the role of parenting is a neverending challenge.
Oh, yes I was the human bottle for nearly four years. It was tough, but I was glad that I could do it. It was during this time I found Vixen -- a combination of yoga and pole dancing. Phenomenal! It not only helped me get back in shape physically, but it also helped me remember that I'm not just mom, that I'm Teresa too.
The variety of music was key for me too. Nothing really moves you like a great song. It is such a great feeling to dance and be free, get lost in the music and just be without any judgement from ourselves or others. It's what children do, but somehow we lose our way growing up.
I continued to study on and off for a year and a half then became a
certified pole instructor through Vixen Power. It is through this
journey I have met and befriended many remarkable individuals such as
the women behind Siren. Strong. Sensual. Supportive. This is what
they mean to me and what Siren is all about.
Other Interests: Sleeping, reading, hula dancing, rock climbing and water activities.

I want to exercise, really I do, but I hate the gym. I would walk in and feel like I was 13-years-old all over again, entering gym class at school with all those insecurities and vulnerabilities. I couldn’t stick with it. Then a friend (with the encouragement of my husband) talked me into taking a pole dancing class. The class began and within minutes, for the first time in a long time, I felt good about my body. Leanne showed all of us how beautiful we were (face it, we women pick on ourselves unmercifully) – how gorgeous our thighs were, how amazingly strong our legs were, how fun our booty is! Then she taught us a pole trick and I was astounded at what joy and amazement there could be in that simple move – Wow! The next morning I woke up and I was sore…in all the right places. I realized - this was a work-out! Another first for me - exercising can be fun! I joined my first 6 week session and I’ve been going ever since. When the teacher training came around I jumped at the chance to learn how to share this incredible journey with other women. I hope that you will come to Siren and let us show you how really beautiful, incredible and strong you are!

Hello Gorgeous Women!
Well, where do I begin…I am conservative, never a dancer and more of a caretaker. I am 41 and the mother of two awesome girls. I love to work out and have tried many forms of exercise from cardio kickboxing to yoga. Nothing has captured my attention the way Vixen Power Flow has done.
It all began at the prodding of friends to take Vixen Power Flow. Then, for one reason or another, none of my friends followed through. Hesitant and nervous, I showed up for class. The dim lighting, no mirrors, and support of the other women in the class were very comforting to me. For the first time in a very long time, I felt sexy and alive. I was immediately addicted to this workout. I have never been happier with myself and my body. This class had touched my life in a way I never thought possible.
I became an instructor because I believe in the journey. I want to be part of helping other women reach their physical and mental goals. All women should feel gorgeous, desirable and have a place to work out to discover their own sensuality. I became a presenter because it is so much fun listening to women laugh and bond in this most outrageously fun setting.

I'm a South Bay native raised on the energy and optimism of Southern California spending just enough time out of state to know where I belong. I love to play and to be playful, whether at the Sirendance studio, on my 1050cc Triumph or partaking of my favorite activity, PINBALL! Music drives my rebellious soul and I'm particular to the music of SoCal, be it Black Flag or DJ Quik.

As a mother, small business owner & college student, I realize that approaching 40, exercise is essential to health and happiness. On my 37th birthday I came across an ad for "learn to pole dance", which was great because I was looking for a fun NEW way to keep fit. The Private Party led me to Siren Dance. I have been a student of Siren Dance for more than 2 years. It has been an amazing journey. I have met some genuine women. Siren dance is a safe environment where I can express myself through dance. There is no "cookie cutter pole dancer.” By nature, women are both unique and beautiful.

First I was a daughter........Now I am a woman, a mother, a sister, a friend and a Vixen. In my search for a workout that would keep me motivated to go, I spotted an ad for a Pole dancing preview class. I tried to get a few friends to take the class with me and was eventually able to convince a friend from work to go with me. I was a little concerned that at 38 years of age I might be the oldest person in the class. So I called the studio and asked the instructor what the age range of clients was, she explained that she was 40 and the class would have women of all ages. With dim pink lights, no mirrors and music that inspired me to leave my head and connect in the moment with my body... I was hooked. I could hardly walk the next day, muscles I never knew I had were sore and the best part was I learned how to spin around a pole and feel beautiful all in 90 minutes. My journey had just begun....
